March 27, 2026 – AI4IV has been selected as the central case study for the upcoming event hosted by Confindustria Udine, “From Idea to Global Enterprise: Startups, Innovation, and Capital for Growth”. Confindustria is the main association representing manufacturing and service companies in Italy, advocating for business interests and economic development.

Taking place on April 17, 2026, the conference will examine the role of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and local agencies in building new businesses. The event places a special emphasis on how investors and venture capital support the growth of deep-tech companies.

Confindustria chose AI4IV as a practical example of how combining advanced engineering, technology transfer, and strategic funding can turn an early-stage concept into a scaling technology company.

During the event, our team will share our journey:

• Giacomo Pinali (AI Architect & Founder, AI4IV) will introduce AI4IV, sharing the foundational ideas behind the company and detailing the creation of our bio-inspired vision sensors.
• Giampietro Tecchiolli (CEO & Founder, AI4IV) will join the expert roundtable “AI, Vision, and Execution” to deliver a keynote titled “From Vision to Understanding: The Eye of Machines.” He will sit alongside leaders from the industrial and financial sectors, including Marco Diani (iMage S S.p.A and EMVA) and Domenico Nesci (Managing Director, Deep Ocean Capital SGR), to discuss the impact of venture capital on artificial vision technologies.
